International Radio Jobs description
An international radio announcer prepares and delivers news, sports, and/or weather reports, and works on gathering and rewriting material so that to convey required information and fit specific time slots. An international radio announcer selects program content, in conjunction with producers and assistants, based on factors such as program specialties, audience tastes, or requests from the public. An international radio announcer studies background information in order to prepare for programs or interviews as well as comments on music and other matters, such as weather or traffic conditions. An international radio announcer interviews show guests about their lives, their work, or topics of current interest and also discuss various topics over the telephone with viewers or listeners. An international radio announcer makes promotional appearances at public or private events in order to represent their employers. An international radio announcer keeps daily program logs to provide information on all elements aired during broadcast, such as musical selections and station promotions. An international radio announcer coordinates games, contests, or other on-air competitions, performs such duties as asking questions and awarding prizes.An international radio announcer requires a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. An international radio announcer should have knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. An international radio announcer should have knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications is required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written required.
