Job Description:

Account Managers keep **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. buzzing, and we are always on the hunt for the most talented sales professionals in the business. The ability to direct a conversation is a definite plus, and the best associates harness an ambition that contributes directly to their income potential. This is a phone sales based position with opportunities for growth and advancement in the managerial track.

Our business development team is pitching to CEOs and presidents across North America, so fearlessness is key.  Enjoying the thrill of bringing in new business is a must, as is the ability to engage with customers across a multitude of industries and disciplines.  The best associates are those that shape transactions so that both the customer and Guerrero Howe receive what is desired.

Most importantly: you must be creative, fun, and looking for a career in a team-friendly environment.

Generate a monthly minimum of 300 sales leads for Sales Associates

Make 60 calls per day, reaching out to prospects from major corporations to small businesses (some leads will be provided)

Conduct phone interviews with quality clients to include in our magazine

Bring in 20 Client Accounts a month in a professional, effective and timely manner

Obtain at least 4 new prospective clients per day

Promote and pitch our brand

Participate in production meetings and take an active role in the publication you call on

Job Requirements

Account Manager – gb&d

BA/BS from an accredited institution strongly preferred

Sales and/or Marketing experience strongly preferred

1-3 years of work experience, preferably in sales, marketing and/or customer service

EXCELLENT communication skills, both written and verbal a must!

Strong attention to details, organizational and time-management skills

Outgoing personality with a positive attitude

Desire to work in a performance-driven environment: a proactive, results driven and goal oriented approach

A polished and professional voice, phone demeanor, and appearance

High level of confidence, not being intimidated by the challenge of talking a CEO or president on the phone

Must be flexible, self-motivated and be able to work independently 

Demonstrated ability to think creatively

Computer literate, must have understanding of Microsoft Office and other computer-based programs


This is a full-time position with competitive compensation that also includes full health/dental benefits and up to 3 weeks of vacation time. The work environment is comfortable but energetic, and office is located in downtown Chicago, close to all CTA and Metra lines making your commute easier!
