Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures and the company's environmental compliance policy.
Utilize technical equipment knowledge to facilitate repairs.
Assist operations, maintenance, engineering and metallurgical groups by understanding the underground mining cycle and optimizing instruments, equipment, and systems.
Read basic P&ID’s, loop diagrams, and schematics
Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and basic repairs.
Utilise basic test equipment, basic Electronic/Electrical theory, basic computer loops, and mechanical theory in the course of work.
Notify appropriate maintenance personnel of maintenance needs within the underground operations.

Training & Experience
Minimum two years of instrumentation or underground communications experience in a mining environment.
Demonstrate an understanding of mine operations, maintenance and networking functionalities.
Ability to carry out assigned tasks to the required standards with minimal supervision.
Must be willing to travel underground and learn about new mining areas and techniques.
