This individual will be responsible for installing and maintaining video, audio, and other equipment associated with television broadcasting. \r\rResponsibilities include:\r\r\rAssist with the building and installation of electronic systems/equipment as assigned\rMaintain and repair transmitters (AM, FM, TV, Microwave, Fiber, satellite, etc.), receivers, cameras, switchers, graphic systems, audio equipment, video tape systems, routers, automation/editing systems, intercoms, two-way radios, monitors, and display systems\rProvide technical support to operational users\rConsult and communicate with engineering management and other engineers on technical issues as required\rPerform all technical work to engineering standards and practices\rAssist with various broadcast system, computer, network, phone system, and facility projects as required\rOther duties may be assigned\r\r\rQualifications and Requirements:\r\r\rSelf-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision\rBe able to work effectively with other departments receiving and communicating instructions via telephone or in person\rBe able to read and understand technical materials\rAble to set priorities under pressure of deadlines\rHold a valid driver's license\rMust be flexible to accommodate shift changes including extended hours, weekends, and evenings\rAssociate’s degree (AA) in electronics is preferred\rWorking knowledge of broadcast station operations is preferred\r\r\r\rSinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!\r\r*LI-SP1\r
