The CRI Logistics Specialist is responsible
for proper biospecimen collection, processing, storage and shipping of all biological materials and collection kits involved in basic and clinical research activities for projects underway at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Primary daily responsibilities include management of specimen custody intake and redistribution, data entry into related project database, document and specimen quality control, specimen shipment tracking, specimen de-identifying, consent verification, requisition development, manufacturing specimen kits and all other aspects of kit coordination. Manages and distributes weekly biospecimen count communication to Caris Executive Management team. Responsible competencies include liquid nitrogen training and handling methodologies, SAM Freezer functionality and completion of the CITI training modules among other necessary training and certification programs required on a routine basis. Additional responsibilities may include site training visits focused on project overview relative to the specimen collection protocol(s). Due to changes in time zones and international specimen deliveries the position maintains responsibility to be available at all times to ensure sample integrity, transit and receipt.
