AM Radio Jobs
An AM radio broadcaster assists in field production when needed and available; gathers audio material and proposes angles based on that material. An AM radio broadcaster works with editors to fulfill weekly coverage needs. An AM radio broadcaster directs and maintains original online-exclusive features, including rich media, multimedia, and community content.
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required for an AM radio job. An AM radio broadcaster must have excellent communication skills. An AM radio broadcaster also have ability to think big and create memorable radio, and able to manage the myriad daily details of production. Experience in radio news production, particularly news magazines programs, and arts programming is also preferred for an AM radio position.
